OMG! This is so crazy! I was excited to work w/ fb because I was nervous to talk to people like Fran does, didn't think I could. But I'm finding out that Beachbody is my new framework for talking to people. Now only can I talk to people about Beachbody, but Beachbody is helping me with my social life! It all goes back to that little MANUAL OF GOOD LUCK, when I said the single biggest thing I was most afraid of was being close to people. The exercise was to turn it into "The one thing that I am MOST EXCITED ABOUT is being close to people. Working as a Beachbody coach has helped me to CONQUER MY BIGGEST FEAR IN LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why am I friends w/ Matt? Because I asked the Sprint team if anyone had a challenge group I could join, and he let me know that he'd added me to his group.

A Little Every Day

Sunday. Not taking a day off until school starts and I have uninterrupted daily work time. Since it's summer, every day has the same routine, weekends and all, so I do a little work every day. My 10 Day Challenge is in 8 days, so I sent out a final plea for Challenge Pack Orders. I FORM'ed my 5 on Facebook. I'll read a little of the tax book. Boring. Not really, just don't want to do what I have to do. After I do, I feel better. Go figure. A little every day...

A Saturday at Work

Today was a so-so day at work so far. I FORM'ed my 5, I added contacts and I checked in on my event. I have my first 10 Day Challenge on August 4, and I sold 3 Challenge Packs for it. I also have an old friend who joined, and she'll need a Challenge Pack. I may not feel like a successful businesswoman yet, but I'm diligently and consistently doing the work to get there.

A Low Day Transforms

Today was not the clear day that I enjoyed yesterday. It was foggy and confusing and I lacked a sense of the big picture. I had a heavy conversation with my husband instead of engaging contacts on Facebook. I didn't get my 3-5 Facebook posts in (but I did get 2). I didn't reach anyone when I made my attempts at 3-way calls w/ my upline coach, which I couldn't get a feeling for anyway. I feel much more comfortable engaging contacts on Facebook with a script my upline coach gave me.

BUT I MADE A SALE! Crazy! It's true: your successes never come from where you think they may. I have a friend who I found out sells Mary Kay products part-time. I knew she was "taken", so I was very open with her about my experience with network marketing. I asked her if maybe I could listen in on her 3-way calls sometime for practice. On her way out the door from dropping off her daughter for a play date, she brought up that she's the heaviest she's ever been, and she wants to lose weight. I told her I could help her with that, and she agreed to take a call the next evening (tonight).

It went gloriously! My upline was very helpful, and my friend was very eager and very ready to make a change in her life. So we sold a Challenge Pack. She hasn't gone "coach" yet, but I succeeded today.

You have no idea how many books I want, feel I NEED to read right now to prepare myself for what I'm doing. I'm reading about the first year in network marketing, about Facebook for Dummies, about healing my posture, about non-violent communication, about metaphysical healing, and I'm not even done with the list. I'm at a very precarious time right now: I can't see the forest for the trees, but I know I'm in the forest, and I know that the forest leads to success, so I'm walking steadily and diligently through that forest, a few steps every day. And that is how I've heard success happens.

The July Sprint to Emerald is done! And I won! Just in time! I still need to watch the Automatic CEO video. Bought my 18 mo. planner today! Amazing: it starts in July! So Synchronistic! I'm really enjoying my daily to-do list. I'm pursuing all of my priority goals, every day. Still whittling down what's most important. So many books I want to read. Regarding business, it's The First Year in Network Marketing and Facebook for Dummies. I'm excited about the year to come.

So Much Fun!

OMG, I am having SO MUCH FUN with this business! I am friending and messaging people all over Facebook, and business isn't even on the top of my mind! I signed up for a free trial to a simple Quickbooks package. I'm keeping up w/ my Power Hour (Forming 5 people), I'm creating my call list (still scared, but I'll have FUN with it), keeping my contact log updated. I really think that my new business is going to be the vehicle for getting everything I've ever wanted in life. Amazing! I've been so scared about going to work, and I found an alternative THAT'S CHANGING MY LIFE!  Oh, and through my July Sprint to Emerald group, I'm learning about all the tax advantages I'll have with my home-based business! Can life get any better? I'm absolutely living my dreams! I didn't even know I had any! And yes, life CAN get better. I can't wait….

I'm Emerald!

Yay! I earned an Emerald rank today! I've got my two coaches! And my newest coach may be able to sign a bunch of her relatives, and I'll be growing! I'm so excited. Florence Nightingale knew what she was talking about: "Happiness is the gradual realization of a worthy ideal or goal." I'm happy! I also made Success Club 5! Success Club 10, here I come, and here I come free Coach Summit ticket! (three consecutive months of Success Club)

Month One ChaLEAN Done!

I'm hoping my adventures with ChaLEAN will contribute to my business. I finished the Burn Phase yesterday. My stats have improved. My pic looks the same to me. I don't have any expectations for ChaLEAN besides a general change. I know Chalene is going to get me muscle. I'm responsible for eating only when I'm hungry, quite a feat for me.

I have one coach (my husband). I need one more to get to Emerald Coach status, my goal for July. I can't think of anyone who would be a good coach and open to the opportunity.  So far, I'm not much of an inspiration. I haven't earned Success Club, and I'm not Emerald, and my only customers have been my dh and my mother-in-law.

On the bright side: I'm having a lot of fun and growing a ton. I found affirmation in Your First Year in Network Marketing by Mark and Rene Yarnell: "While some choose network marketing as a means to an end (wealth), others simply enjoy it for its own merits. These folks join Multi-Level Marketing to build their confidence, widen their circle of friends, and feel more productive." Man, that inspires me! After I became a coach and learned more about what it entails, the former three were the exact aspects I liked most about my endeavor. I'm no longer comfortable with people, and coaching gives me an avenue in which to interact with others.

My goals are:  To have the confidence to try the Most People experiment, at least twice.  To use the Instant Rapport/Most People skills from Mark Januszewski in conversation. To feel comfortable or at least to know within myself why the hell I'm making three-way calls, without feeling like a schmuck.

I have some great role models: Fran Patoski, Nikki Whiting, and my newest, the fabulous Bombshell Dynasty empress, Lindsay Matway! Really, I can find everything I ever wanted in my new business: financial freedom, friends, experience, wisdom, maturity, growth, new paths. I really can have it all.

Already, I've expanded my list of desires to Proper Posture, Metaphysical Healing and blogging my way through ChaLEAN Extreme. My life is better, and it's got ultimate potential.
